Free Solarize CNY Workshop
“Solarize CNY”, the Town of Skaneateles, and Sustainable Skaneateles invite the community to attend a Solarize CNY workshop to be held Wednesday, September 30 from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Skaneateles Fire Department, 77 West Genesee Street, Skaneateles. The workshop provides information on NYS incentives, which encourage adoption of clean, sustainable energy for homeowners, businesses, landlords, farms, and non-profits. This free community education workshop will help people familiarize themselves with the benefits of solar energy and the bulk purchasing discounts that are offered through the program.
Why attend a Solarize CNY Workshop?
Find out more about how solar systems work and how you can benefit from the assistance of the Solarize campaign. Learn about costs, financing, and the viability of solar for your home or business. Take advantage of the Solarize campaign’s pre-qualified installers, selected through a competitive process based on quality, service and equipment.
Solarize CNY representatives and partner installers will be available at the workshop to help answer any questions that you might have. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to enroll in a free-no-obligation site assessment to determine whether your site is suitable for Solar Power and how much you can save if you make the switch to solar.
How does the Solarize CNY campaign Work?
The Solarize campaign combines the purchasing power of our community to negotiate a reduced price for individual solar installations. This reduced price, when combined with state and federal tax credits and state incentives, makes solar power more affordable than ever!
The Solarize CNY Campaign is based on the success of last year’s Solarize Syracuse campaign — which more than doubled the number of solar installations in Syracuse and selected suburbs.
